AIMEX will set up a superyacht division and will appoint a committee of superyacht representatives. Heesen Yachts Sells Project Ventura

heesen_venturaYN 16050 is the fourth contract signedby the yad in 2011. By acquiring a yacht which is already under construction, the owner receives all the advantages of a newbuild, ready for delivery in 2013. Heesen currently has twelve vessels in commission, with three on speculation: deliveries run into 2015. tempesta_superyacht1Allufer Tempesta’s brand new sliding automatic door, B15, has passed the tests at RINA’s laboratories in Geneva. After the 15th minute the door’s temperature was 80 degrees celcius under the failure point, and at the end of the testing process, after 33 minutes, door temperature still was 40 degrees celcius under the failure point. Allufer Tempesta is an Italy-based specialist in equipment for the marine industry, including superyachts.

Wealth of Details

rmk_superyachtRMK Marine launched the spectacular RMK 4500 - a 45m Ron Holland designed superyacht. She was successfully launched using the yard’s special launch and recovery slipway. At the 2011 Monaco Yacht Show the yard announced that the boat is available for sale at EUR 19 million. The yacht will be finished and ready for delivery to an owner on time for the 2012 season. Floating Floors Meet New Regulations

superyacht_floorNew regulations ban the use of traditional floors and compel yards to fit non-combustible floors in yachts of over 100 m in length. The new non-combustible floor panels from Drumarkon - called Druma-Floor NC/SR - meet these new regulations and are certified in accordance with IMO Res. 754 (18) in class B15 and SOLAS. Custom-Made Elevators for Delta Invader

delta_superyacht1Lift Emotion has been granted the contract to build the elevators for Delta’s 66m project Invader. The company worked with Delta before, on three other projects. The yacht will have two elevators - one owner’s elevator and a trolley elevator for the crew. The owner’s elevator from the Lift Emotion C-line is a proven system to guarantee both the shipyard and client a trouble-free and safe usage throughout the lifespan of the yacht.
