During the upcoming PSP Southampton International Boat Show Sunseeker International will launch their new ‘40 Metre Yacht’ and the Manhattan 63. Classical star Katherine Jenkins, the award-winning British mezzo-soprano, will be performing onboard the new 40m yacht at the official launch. Oceanco splashed its latest yacht, hull number Y706. At 86m, Y706 boasts exterior and interior design work of Nuvolari & Lenard, which includes a trademark Oceanco swimming pool on her aft deck that can be conveniently transformed into a helipad. Mourjan Marinas IGY announced it will undertake full responsibility for design, construction and operation of all marinas in the Lusail City’s development in Qatar. This meticulously planned new city will eventually accommodate 200,000 people. Situated along the coast just north of Doha, the maritime hub will include a number of marinas serving different segments of the industry including private, business, and community marinas. With two weeks to go an impressive fleet of Swans is poised to sail into Porto Cervo, Sardinia for the 2010 Rolex Swan Cup. The 16th edition of this biennial clan gathering includes the Swan 45 Rolex World Championship. Following his design on a Lürssen platform, Aurora, Adam Voorhees now announces a second collaboration with Lürssen, also to be presented at the Monaco Yacht Show. Gulf Craft has launched its new triple deck Majesty 125. After successful completion of sea trials and commissioning, the new model will make its global debut at the Cannes International Boat and Yacht Show in September before heading to the Monaco Yacht Show and the Genoa Boat Show. With the global financial crisis, sales simultaneously bottomed out in both of Drettmann’s business fields, which resulted in insolvency proceedings introduced at the end of May. Now the German company, based in Bremen, reports to steer into calmer waters. With investors showing interest, they expect the location in Bremen-Hemelingen to be maintained. Sunseeker International will launch a brand-new 40m yacht at this year’s Southampton Boat Show. The firm’s new flagship (available to view at marina berth M540) builds on the success of the 37m yacht of which nine have been delivered to date, the new 40m Yacht incorporates all the best elements of the 37m yacht but also features new elements such as balconies and increased exterior deck spaces. Early August 2010 Nobiskrug delivered 60m motor yacht Jamaica Bay to her owners. This classic looking yacht with her characterising canoe stern was designed by Felix Buytendijk, both exterior and interior. The latest Hydro Tec project by ing. Sergio Cutolo is the 35m HT116′ Explorer, designed for the Kingship Itd shipyard in Hong Kong. The Explorer is the first of three designs Hydro Tec will arrange for the Chinese shipyard. The next two models in the series are a bigger yacht of 45 m and smaller one of 26.5 m.
